Rosy Starling

Having failed to see the two Ynyslas Rosy Starlings I tried my luck at Llansantffraid and came up trumps with this cracking adult bird! If anyone is thinking of going to have a look for it my advice is find the main starling flock (c. 150 birds)and stick with it as the Rosy is part of the flock, but it does come and go a bit. This afternoon the flock spending most of its time in the recently harvested silage fields towards the church end of the village.
