Teifi Pools

I'm up at the pools 3 or 4 times a week and I've certainly not seen any sign of a feeding Osprey, as Hugh Gillings was wondering.
There were at least 3 Common Sandpipers on the beaches of Llyn Hir this morning along with several pied wagtails, numerous skylarks but what's happened to all the Wheatears, this time last year there were dozens up there but I haven't seen any this week only a few early in the season, also none around our field in Ffair Rhos.
Judging by the calling in the last week I think at least two curlew nests have fledged as five or six circling
around pen-y-banneau and Ffair Rhos.
