On Thursday 19th July I saw a white-winged gull from a dolphin survey boat
a mile or so off New Quay / Llangranog.
I only picked it up after after it passed overhead so it wasn't a great
view, but It did not appear to be large enough for a glaucous. It was generally
white with a few apparently random pale brown markings.
I wonder if it could have been the Iceland gull seen previously at Newport,
Pembrokeshire?
