Sightings from Paul Bennett

On Tuesday, a bedraggled looking female Wheatear and three juvs at Llanrhystud, where also Swallows feeding young, and at least 12 Linnets feeding on seeding wild flowers and grasses.
Wednesday at Teifi Marshes, nine Shelduck at first hide, then from Mallard hide, standing on a raft a Black-tailed Godwit in summer plumage; what a beauty.
At the Creek hide, 15 Common Sandpipers standing on branches put there for Kingfishers, a flock of 50 Oystercatchers flying up and down river and several Sedge Warblers and fewer Reed Warblers.
