Penrhiwllan

Been an interesting week so far, with second brood fledglings beginning to appear, so far we have seen Robin, Dunnock, Chaffinch, Goldfinch, probably Blue and Great tit, there are just so many at the moment that I am sure that some must be second broods
A second juvenile Greater spotted woodpecker has appeared with the one that has been around for some time. When the first greater spotted appeared in the garden back on 7 June there were 2, but 1 come to an untimely end by hitting our glass door, so is this new bird a second brood or just another from different parents?
