A Cattle Egret was a nice consolation to an otherwise quiet afternoon at Ynyslas. It was initially with some cattle near the railway bridge over the Leri but flew off to join a different herd of cattle on Aberleri fields. Other birds included 310 Linnets, 2 Whimbrel, 4 Snipe, a Goldcrest, 9 Stonechats, a Kingfisher, 2 Cetti's Warblers and 13 Sandwich Terns.
