The sea: Aberystwyth and Ynyslas turn

During a short seawatch at Aberystwyth this morning nine Common Scoter and over 100 auks went north and 16 Gannets were circling around well offshore, plus another three south.
Then to Ynyslas turn car park, where the three Scaup were still close inshore, as were good numbers of Common Scoter.  Quite difficult to pick out much among the waves; I only managed to find two Eider and three Great Crested Grebes.
Divers were almost completely absent, just single Red-throated and Great Northern, both in flight.
