Last night 1715-1825 hundreds of thrushes passed over cottage to unknown roost?
above Llanddewi Brefi, probably in the conifer plantations. Mostly Redwing with
small groups of Blackbirds some Song Thrushes but hardly any Fieldfare.
Woodpigeons also seem to like the idea of joining in, as did a Great Spotted Woodpecker. With the clear skies some birds were flying very high
