Spent just over an hour at the hide this morning. On or over
the pool were 120 teal, and 8 shoveler, with a few wigeon, a red kite and a
buzzard, 2 ravens, 3 skylarks, and a single meadow pipit. 5 reed buntings on
the edge of the raised bog, and 2 stonechats. Surrounding grazing marshes had a
ring-tailed hen harrier, 2 red kites, and a single rook.
