Visit to Ynys-hir Sunday 18th mid
afternoon
From Ynys Feurig hide
16 mallard, 5 shoveler, 180 teal, 80 wigeon (most of these
grazing just below the hide), and 36 lapwing.
On the surrounding grazing marsh birds included a female hen
harrier, 30 golden plover, 220 curlew, and 2 little egrets.
8 meadow pipits and 2 snipe on the raised bog from the
boardwalk.
