A walk in the snow

Cracking close views an hour ago of a Merlin tracking down the Dulas valley at Betws Bledrws plus 6 Stock Doves (Llangybi). Yesterday, when I was shopping in Lampeter, an Egret flew down river. I was driving at the time so couldn't positively id it, but I thought it looked biggish with rather slow, heavy flight.
