Llanon gulls

The ploughing of the Llanon arable fields attracted around 1500 Black-headed Gulls, 12+ Med Gulls and a handful of Herring and Commons this afternoon. The vast majority of the Black-headed's were 1st winters, presumably a lot of the adults are back on breeding grounds now. 3 Wheatears, 3 Chiffchaffs, a White Wagtail, a Goldcrest, 2 Sand Martins and a Grey Plover were seen along the coastal path between Llanrhystud and Llanon.
