A female kestrel was waiting for us on the wall when we arrived, saw her
another couple of times on our walk. Four wheatear on the southern part of the
path by the old tea room, along with a small tortoiseshell butterfly. Other
spots included mipits displaying, goosander pair, stonechat, chiffchaff,
chaffinch, robin, dunnock, blackbird, magpie, jackdaw, crow, red kite and on the
shore 10 oystercatcher, 2 ringed plover and a solitary juv. knot.
