2 green sandpipers. I saw one briefly in the morning from the A487 layby, but was able to confirm its identity later on the muddy inlet near Domen Las.
At Marian Mawr early afternoon - 100 sand martins, four Redshanks and a number of lapwings. Sudden pandemonium alerted me to a goshawk above the pools. It was being chased away by a crow, which gave me a good size comparison. Slightly bigger than the crow, it would probably have been a male, I think, although I saw a hint of pale brown in the plumage. So perhaps not fully adult?
Also two blackcaps in the ivy near the railway bridge and a swallow over the pools near the car park.
