A surprisingly chilly breeze this morning at Glandwr. Snatches of song from Sedge and Grasshopper Warbler, a Shelduck on the pool and three Whimbrel in a field on the way.
Hirundines moving through in good numbers, mostly Swallows with a few House and Sand Martins.
On the way I had a brief look at the sea at Borth. A party of eight Whimbrel high over the sea cleared the headland at Upper Borth then turned inland. Lovely to see migration in action.
