Glandyfi and Tanybwlch

A good half-hour birding from Glandyfi first thing (0700) included around 50 Sand Martins settling on the sand bars, a Great White Egret to the north of Ynys Hir on the marsh, a Cetti's Warbler singing and my first Snipe display call (but not full-on drumming).

Some passage underway just south of Aberystwyth near Tanybwlch: 9 Northern Wheatears and two larger birds that looked good for Greenland-race; ~25 Lesser Black-backed Gulls drifting north, 16 Goldfinches, 8 Siskins, 22 Linnets, 7 Swallows and a House Martin through too.
