LLANRHYSTUD

Llanrhystud this afternoon (2-4) there were 2 Black-tailed Godwits on the meadow by the car park. One was colour-ringed and I have sent off the details and if I get a reply I will put them on the blog. (Oops, see above)
Nearby on a muddy pool were 17 Dunlin and here are some of them:
A Red Kite passed overhead and they all flew off, the Dunlin never to be seen again, although a single bird was there later on. The Godwits settled on the shore:
Nearby there was a White Wagtail and 2 Wheatears and 7 more Wheatears (all Northern)  towards the lime kilns where a Lesser Whitethroat was singing. On the rocks below the cliff were 3 Shelduck, which according to Harry have been around there for some little while.
