My first two manxies of the year were the highlight of the best seawatch I've had for some time. I gave it an hour from 7:30 but the passage was over by 8:15. Gannets predominated with 73, many close in and all adults. Kittiwakes totalled 61, again all adults, and 30 auks passed at a distance.
Others were three Sandwich Terns, 12 Common Scoter, six Greylag Geese, two Common Gulls and two Canada Geese.
Everything was heading north except for the Canadas.
