Along the Dyfi estuary

I paid a short visit to Ynyslas as the waders were starting to gather on the falling tide.  95 Dunlin, 36 Ringed Plover, one Sanderling and I could hear Whimbrel calling but didn't go looking for them.  The dark-bellied Brent Goose was over towards the point.
A Cuckoo greeted me as I arrived at the Cletwr.  Just a single Common Sandpiper on the river then a Yellow Wagtail gave tantalising flight views before settling on the riverbank.
Along  to Glandyfi next, where I found Dick in situ but hardly any birds.
I finished with a walk up Cwm Cletwr (it gets steeper as you get older) and was rewarded with my first Wood Warblers of the spring.
