Cross Inn Forest/Bethania

I know I babble on about it every year, but I love this place. And there always seem to be few side tracks I haven't explored yet, a few more wet, scrubby fields that are just out of sight or sound. Despite less than favourable conditions, plenty of birds. Apart from a Sparrowhawk, singing males (2018 in brackets); Chiffchaff 45(39), Willow Warbler 74(60), Blackcap 18(25), Garden Warbler 11 (7), Whitethroat 17 (14), Redpoll 15(13), Willow Tit 1 (3), Cuckoo 2 (4).
