Nice views this afternoon of the spoonbill roosting on the Ceredigion side of the river with 10 goosander (8 drakes and 2 females), then joined by a little egret, and 6 whimbrel.
I was surprised to see birdwatchers in the Domen Las hide as I understood it is shut to encourage recolonisation of the site by little egrets.
