Purple Heron still present

The Purple Heron was fishing along the flooded ditch edges at Aberleri fields again this morning, just over the level crossing from the green golf shed (same location as Thursday), Best viewed from site of old CCW hide. Also good numbers of Sedge and Reed warblers, a female Kestrel, 15 Whimbrel and a couple of Greenland Wheatears along the Leri, 4 Swifts over Cors Fochno and a very distant Cuckoo calling from somewhere towards Llancynfelin.
