Ynyshir mid day

A walk down through the main oakwood  out to the Ynys Feurig hide. Good  to have  2 wood warblers, several pied flycatchers and then excellent views of garden warblers, whitethroats  on the main bog. Highlights from the hide were the 2 lapwing broods in full view (7 chicks), though the pool was  generally very quiet.  An osprey flew past with a fish, and then a distant goshawk being mobbed by a buzzard, and small numbers of swifts heading north.
