21st century birding man

Ventured north for a hike round the "Gentleman's walk" on the Hafod estate. Being in step with fast changing social developments I allowed my wife to accompany me. We'd forgotten just what a wonderful place it is. I counted 9 Crossbills on my way round, all singles. Also 5 Wood Warblers, and I dare say that if we'd come a month ago I might have heard a few more.
