Early this morning I was by the blockhouse at
Ynyslas watching a huge feeding frenzy off and extending beyond the mouth of the
Dyfi estuary. Along with the gulls and countless Manx Shearwaters were 270
Gannets. After a long while the frenzy became subdued and many of the Gannets
and Manxies began to fly south, several just beyond the breaking waves. It was a
wonderful hour or so.
Later at the Clettwr, a Common Sandpiper and then
rain stopped play.
