Llanrhystud
Not much variety but 71 Ringed Plover was probably the most I've ever seen here. Also 5 Dunlin, 13 Turnstone, 2 Sandwich Terns. The Ringed Plovers were with about 150 Mediterranean Gulls on a ploughed field between the car park and the caravans. The fields south of Llanon were harvested but not ploughed. I didn't see any gulls there. On my way home I peeked over the hedge at Ty Gwyn pools where there was a Whooper Swan. I remember seeing one here a few years ago. A resident I presume.
