Ynyslas

About 650 small waders came up to the tern posts/ Leri mouth on the rising tide this morning but despite good views all I could find were Dunlin and Ringed Plovers; about 2:1.
Swallows were moving down the estuary; up to 25 in view at a time, and on the way back I stopped for a quick look over Ynys Tachwedd and found 12 Stonechats in a small corner of just one field.
Some high tides over the next few days: well worth checking along the Dyfi estuary for unusual waders.
