Sunday am on the Dyfi

Too much to do in the garden so could not afford the drive to Mwnt as planned. Instead a sea-watch from the brick house near Ynyslas between 0615 and 0830 was reasonably productive with a steady stream of kittiwakes (1200 north), manx shearwaters (750 north) and gannets (146 north). Also passing were 26 sandwich terns, 21 comic terns, 4 arctic skuas and a few fulmar. At Ynyslas, there were six curlew sandpipers in total on a dropping tide (one was trapped and ringed on Saturday night) but these were all un-ringed and no sign of the little stint ringed there on Friday night.
