Busy day at Llyn Oerfa.
Today the lake in front of our house at Ystumtuen
holds eleven
goosanders (two male), two pairs of teal, four male mallards,
one pair
of tufted ducks, and a heron.
Our walk on Saturday produced
sightings of twenty+ turnstones and six
purple sandpipers by the pier in
Aberystwyth and a pair of ravens and a
peregrine on constitution
hill.
Yesterday we walked at Tanybwlch where there were at least
six
stonechats, a singing chiffchaff and a pair of chough collecting
nest
material.
