Yesterday while collecting plastic (filling 2 large sacks!) from the little pebble beach near the harbour entrance at Aberystwyth I came across this freshly dead and seemingly undernourished Shag. It had been ringed and I have just received the details:
Ringed as a nesting on 8th July 2016 on Puffin Island, Anglesey.
