Ynyslas

An almost spring-like morning at Ynyslas today. A couple of skylark singing over the Boatyard Fields with at least 3 pairs of stonechat on the fences around the periphery. Elsewhere there was very little of note - a good flock of wigeon still on the Estuary with around 100 golden plover overhead. Low tide but few waders. Just some dunlin, oystercatcher and sanderling - no curlew or redshank noted.
Access to the main car park is still best taken very gently as the road is flooded after Sea Rivers Caravan Park.
