Aberystwyth prom

A visit to the seafront this morning combined with a shopping trip.  A Whimbrel and four Common Sandpipers were on College rocks before the tide displaced them.
Unusually the Turnstones were roosting on the wall along with the Purple Sandpipers; 26 Turnstones and six purps.
Offshore ca 20 Gannets went south and four Manx Shearwaters north, along with two Common Scoter.
P.S.  A little flurry of activity through my front window; two Swallows and my first House Martin of the year.
