Highlight of my "exercise" walk this morning was my first wood warbler, in the NRW beech wood above Pandy. Very nice also was a tree pipit just above the house on the south side of the valley. This bird has now been there for 3 days. Breeding pair of crossbills much in evidence in the forestry.
