Amazing amount of bird-song again early this morning from, we reckoned, 13 species. My pocket sized Panasonic just about caught a Chiffchaff, Blackcap and Wren in song. The Wren was then photo-bombed by a Willow Warbler.
At least 21 Chough were feeding on one of the sloping pastures while others could be heard from across the river. So, perhaps the total was the 26 Jill and I saw the other day.
