This morning I came across a scrape with two oystercatcher eggs, at the back of
the shingle beach between 'the point' and Llansantffraed.
Other sightings included a mixed group of
30 Ringed Plover and dunlin, a single redshank and a group of 6 whimbrel. There
were around 20 sand martins in the bank at the back of the beach near the lime
kilns, plus a few passing swallows and one house martin. Also a breeding pair of
stonechat in a hedge near the large shed.
