Early this morning at Borth there were 17 Common Scoters offshore and a small movement of Manx Shearwaters heading north.
A Sandwich Tern flew along the shore towards the estuary with a fish in its bill. I have often wondered what birds other than terns migrate with their young while still feeding them.
On the tideline to the north of the Ynyslas brickhouse was this dead young Puffin which must have fledged quite recently.
