Bwlch Llan revisited

This morning I went back to the location I was in yesterday. This time with wellies. Two Willow Tits were present, some distance apart; 575598 and 576604. As I walked back to the car I met a man who looked surprised to see me. He was the owner of the farmland and the SSSI I had been exploring, and told me I was only the second person he had ever seen on the footpath in 42 years! It was evident that he managed the land in a very environmentally friendly fashion but said that, despite his best efforts, Lapwings and Curlews no longer bred on his land as they once had. Since I had my wellies on I also drove over to Rhos Cilcennin to tackle another tricky spot. Willow Tit here at 530616.
