New Quay and out in the bay

Some recent sightings. On New Quay head I’ve had a wheatear in the garden on two occasions. There was another on the cliff top. I think that these birds are probably moving through.
Out in the bay groups of oystercatcher mainly passing south. Off Aberaeron there was a flock of 50 going south. An adult med passed the boat in New Quay bay in winter plumage. Also a sandwich tern in the same area. Further out small numbers of manx shearwaters. A few gannets seen on most days often shadowing dolphins.
