Ynyslas terns

There were about 100 Sandwich Terns at Ynyslas Point at high tide yesterday evening (our first visit since 22 March). Mixed flock of c.30 Ringed Plovers and Dunlin feeding along the shore, and a handful of distant Gannets way off shore. Still relatively few visitors about, and Marsh Helleborines flowering in the dune slacks.
