There were several hundred Dunlin and Ringed Plovers in the high tide roost at Ynyslas Point this evening, mostly asleep among the cobbles and impossible to count in the fading light. Good numbers of Turnstones and 10+ Knot, with 3 Curlew Sandpipers awake and feeding.
In the distance towards Aberdyfi quay was a large flock of Sandwich Terns over the deep water channel, probably 200+.
