Great Skua off Aberystwyth

A seawatch from the castle shelter from 7:40 to 9:40 this morning.  Although the bonxie was the star of the show, the most enjoyable aspect was watching the birds, especially the manxies, kitties and Gannets, streaming past as close as I've ever seen them.
No attempt made to count Manx Shearwaters (there were thousands).   The other counts were: ---
Kittiwake 540, Gannet 150, Sandwich Tern 115, Teal 2, Common Scoter 5, Fulmar 1, Dunlin 1, Whimbrel 5, Common Gull 3 and Guillemot 1.
Everything going south except for the scoters and a couple of hundred manxies.
