Hirundines south over Aberaeron

Couldn't quite make Ian Morris's 54 Swifts but three moving over Aberaeron yesterday afternoon (16.30) and then a flurry of hirundines very shortly afterwards - a noisy 60+ House Martins (thought at first there was a Sparrowhawk or whatever about) plus about 10 Swallows. I sipped my tea for a further 20 minutes or so and watched a further four or five Swallows and 20 House Martins moving but no more Swifts.

There are also up to 40 Goldfinches feeding as a flock in the still uncut meadow - a record number.
