A great social gathering of six familiar faces were scanning the waders on the damp meadow just south of the car park at midday. A Knot was present together with 35 Dunlin.
A very confiding and diminutive wader caused us all some puzzlement and disagreement and I hope the 2 photos I took will prompt some suggestions as to its identity.
