Manx Shearwaters

Warm and calm again at Aberystwyth early this morning.  Manx Shearwaters were passing in good numbers so I carried out a 30 minute count and got 1650.  The passage continued with only s couple of lulls so the total during my visit must have been well over 5000.
At least 70 Gannets also went north, but strangely it was almost 90 minutes before the first of ca10 Sandwich Terns appeared.
Very few waders have been passing through recently, apart from Turnstones, so it was nice to find eight Ringed Plovers on the rocks.
