Arrived at the brickhouse at 7:30 to find Mark Spirito from Breconshire. We were later joined by Simon Cox. The Gannet spectacular continues, but Kittiwakes much reduced and Manx Shearwaters and Sandwich Terns also down in number
Surprise bird of the seawatch was a juv Marsh Harrier which Mark put me on to as it went south offshore.. At least one, probably two Great Northern Divers present. Other highlights were single Pomarine and Arctic Skua.. Ca 110 Wigeon noted, with one party being joined by six Pintail.
Four Knot and two Bar-tailed Godwits came in off, both seen first by Simon.
