A pair of Willow Tits were present this morning about 1km SE of Gorsgoch (opp Bwlchgwyn) 495499. Further down the road I explored (stumbled about) in an excellent looking SSSI at Blaencwrt with lots of feeders at the neighbouring house, but no Willow Tits. A place to return to in early spring. A regenerating clearfell plantation between there and Cribyn also looked promising..but no joy. Finally, another Willow Tit was at Troedybryn fishery, Cribyn 507518. Came home covered in cobwebs and seeds.
