A colour-ringed 2nd year Yellow-legged Gull was at Llanrhystud on the 9th and there was a 3rd year there today (11th). Other recent highlights at Llanrhystud include a juv Little Stint on the 9th, on the beach in front of the caravan park, and second, brighter bird today on the muddy pools/puddles in the field behind the shingle ridge (where yesterday’s Pec Sand was). At least 1000 kittiwakes feeding off shore, which had attracted the attention of at least three Arctic Skuas.
