A walk with Mrs M at Llanrhystud

An enjoyable morning birding and the more sociable half of our partnership even produced chocolate cake from her handbag as we strolled along. As a rule I would never indulge in such frivolous luxuries of course when out birding on my own, preferring a solitary, ascetic approach to the hobby. But very yummy. We called in at Denmark Farm for 5 minutes, where there was a late, or perhaps early Blackcap, in the car park. European White-fronted Goose was still present at Llanrhystud as well as a Little Stint, 400 Golden Plovers, 26 Turnstones, Peregrine, 3 Med Gulls, a White Wagtail and 2 Shags.
