Llanrhystud and Llansantffraed

There were two Lapwings on the flooded field at Llanrhystud this morning and 12 Ringed Plovers on the beach.  Just a Red-throated Diver and two Common Scoter offshore.

At Llansantffraed, a selection of the commoner waders, i.e. 13 Curlews, 20 Turnstones, three Ringed Plovers, three Redshank, a Dunlin, a Bar-tailed Godwit  and finally, a flock of ca 160 Golden Plover.         16 Wigeon on the sea in the bay and a Teal flew north. The white Oystercatcher was with around 35 normal ones.

I revisited Llanrhystud on the way home and a flock of 21 Lapwings rounded the point at Llansantffraed then flew inland.
