Apparently our eagle, found dead on August 6th near Abergwesyn, was suffering from Aspergillosis, a fungal infection which is common in nature but deadly in wild birds whose immune systems have been compromised by hunger or other natural events.
It was an awe inspiring sight in our skies and one can only hope that another makes a bid for freedom soon!
